Worker's Fund Insurance Company v. Private Communications Strategies, LLC
The firm represented the insurer in a coverage dispute in New Jersey concerning a multi-million dollar claim under an ocean marine cargo policy for the loss of wireless communications devices that were stolen while being transported from New Jersey to Kentucky by truck. At issue was whether the insured had complied with a transit warranty meant to reduce the risk of theft. The insured alleged bad faith claims handling practices. We resolved the dispute by negotiating a settlement with the insured that was very favorable to the insurer.
